Kandice Raymond

Kandice started her career in Optical as a Lab tech in 1999. She has worked at various labs, retailers, and offices over the years and is excited to bring her knowledge and skill to the West 5 Optometry team.
She has always had an interest and passion for eye health as her grandmother was diagnosed with AMD. From then Kandice knew she wanted to explore the different avenues of eye health and care.
Kandice is a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant, Certified Lab Technician, Transitions Specialist and a certified MiYoSmart lens dispenser. She is always looking to expand her education and is ready to explore dry eye care and pediatric care more in depth.
During her spare time Kandice loves to develop her creativity with art, spending time outdoors with her family, as well as travelling. Kandice especially has her heart set in the West coast, particularly California. If you have any great travel spots she is always looking for new suggestions to add to the bucket list!
